Registration for CREW 1, 2, and 3 is closed for the 2025-2026 year.
It is a 2 1/2-year process. Teens beginning in the 9th grade will be confirmed in December of 11th grade.
How long does it take to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Bartholomew?When are the CREW I, 2, and 3 classes for 2025? (CREW students are in their first two years of Confirmation Prep)

Attendance at the following sessions is mandatory. No absences are permitted:

December 5, 2025How does my teen get confirmed at St. Bartholomew?
2 1/2 years of Confirmation classes (Crew 1, Crew 2, CREW 3), two retreats, interview with Youth Coordinator, and service hours performed beginning in January of their CREW 2 year are required for your teen to be confirmed.
What if my teen cannot make the retreat due to a scheduling conflict?
Please speak to your coaches and directors to discuss any scheduling conflicts. Most of them will do their best to accommodate you. If an accommodation is not possible, please find another parish with retreat dates before our confirmation date of December 5, 2025, and inform Jennifer Greco, the Youth Coordinator.What is the dress code for confirmation?
Ladies
• modest dresses
• skirts
• a blouse with dress pants.
*The dresses cannot be sleeveless; they must have straps and must be knee-length at minimum.
Men
• Dress shirt
• Dress pants
• Tie. Men may also wear a suit if they choose.Can there be more than one sponsor?
There can only be one sponsor.What qualifications must my sponsor meet?
The sponsor must be Catholic, above the age of 16, follow and believe all the Catholic church teachings, and be in good standing with the Catholic Church. If married, the sponsor must be married in the Catholic Church. If the sponsor is unmarried, the sponsor cannot live with a significant other.Can a parent or sibling be a sponsor?
A parent cannot be a sponsor for their own child, but a sibling over the age of 16 who has been confirmed and is in good Catholic standing, can be.Attendance Policy
