The Adoration Ministry will help people grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ present in the Most Blessed Sacrament through Perpetual Eucharist Adoration.
You can come anytime, but we also need people to sign up and commit so that there is someone there all the time.
Vision & Mission
We will teach and inspire others to live in the friendship of Jesus Christ, who is patiently waiting for all in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
The entrance to the chapel is at the back of the church building, facing north to Myrna Street.
Your Role as an Adorer
Each of us, as an adorer, represents our parish in continuous adoration and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. We are not here for ourselves alone. As a member of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Parish, it should be a source of great consolation to know that someone is praying for us continuously day and night. Likewise, the chapel will always be available to all for prayer. You, especially, are to be commended for making this possible.
Prayer Intentions
Each adorer should keep these intentions in mind:
The spiritual renewal of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Parish family according to the mind and heart of Christ.
Vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
That innocent life, from conception to natural end, be held sacred.
Your own personal intentions.
Benediction
Benediction is adoration in song and prayer of the Blessed Sacrament, exposed in a monstrance. It is done as a worshiping community’s manifestation of its faith in and honor of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. It concludes with a final blessing using the Blessed Sacrament to confer the blessing.” The Evening Prayer of the Church is done within the context of the Benediction Service.
