Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin MaryThis year, the Solemnity of the Assumption falls on Saturday, August 15, and therefore it is not a Holy Day of Obligation. However, we still encourage all parishioners to attend Mass and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary on this beautiful solemnity.
