At St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church
Join us for a special African Community Mass as we celebrate Juneteenth and the rich faith and cultural heritage of the African Catholic community at St. Bartholomew.
This Mass is an opportunity to pray together, celebrate together, and grow together as one family in Christ. It seeks to respond to the spiritual and pastoral needs of our African Catholic community while strengthening faith, unity, and a deeper sense of belonging within the universal Church.
Experience the vibrant beauty of African liturgical traditions.
The Mass will be celebrated primarily in English, with prayers and hymns in various African languages such as Igbo, Bissa, Twi, Lari, Susu, Acholi, Tigrinya, Kinyarwanda, French, and others.
All are warmly invited to a reception at 8:00 PM in the Youth Building.
Please bring a dish to share as we enjoy fellowship, cultural exchange, and joyful community time together.
