Join us for the African Community Mass on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM at St. Bartholomew as we celebrate Juneteenth and the rich faith and cultural heritage of the African community.
Come and pray together, celebrate together, and grow together as one family in Christ. This Mass is a time to respond to the spiritual and pastoral needs of our African Catholic community, strengthening our faith, unity, and sense of belonging in the universal Church.
Experience the vibrant music and prayer traditions from different African nations. The Mass will be celebrated mainly in English, with prayers and hymns in Igbo, Bissa, Twi, Lari, Susu, Acholi, Tigrinya, Kinyarwanda, French, and other African languages.
Reception After Mass
All are invited to a reception in the Youth Building at 8:00 PM. Please bring a dish to share as we enjoy fellowship, cultural exchange, and community time together.
